Half Way mark

Last week marked 20 weeks and I am SO happy to be over the hump. We haven't been up to too much lately. We did get our Christmas tree this week and we did most of our shopping. It's getting very cold here! Hopefully it will snow!!

An Introduction to Make

Well, this is our son, Abishai Elijah!!! We got the much anticipated ultrasound done last Sunday. Now we can take the next big step and start working on the nursery. I can rest at ease for a little while knowing that I don't have to paint it pink for this one. Can you believe we can see this much!? We are just taking it all in. Ahhh, techmology... friggin amazing stuff. We can't decide who he looks like yet. Just know this: God is so awesome! Who else would come up with this. He truly is the Author and Creator of Life. I cannot begin to describe to feelings that go along with all of this. "Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgements and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to the Him that it might be paid back to him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. - Romans 11:33-36"  Yeah, that's a start.

Weekend getaway

This past weekend we rented a cabin near the Luray Canverns in Virginia. It was a beautiful place to stay and relax. Saturday we toured the caverns and did a garden maze then at night we enjoyed some fine dining at a local hotel. Sunday morning we got up and took an airplane ride above the mountains to see the view!! The trees were all different colors . They looked like a giant blanket over the ground. This really was a nice trip and I would recommend it to anyone who can go. 

Not much going on here.....

I am still home and getting a little bored. Here are a few pics from the past week or two. This is us before we went to join some friends at a local farm to do a corn maze and get a pumpkin.

My lack of Belly still. I am still preggo, however, we saw the baby last week on an ultrasound. I think I must've laughed and then it jumped up. It was the coolest thing!!

We went to PA for a weekend to see family and go to my grandma's 70th Birthday!! It was fun!! Here are a few pics...

I've finally left my cave to venture to the computer room! This is so new. I am trying something my smarty-pants husband said I should do and just trick myself into thinking I'm not acutally sick.... hmmm ... sounds so easy....... >:/

First Baby gifts!

I got a box from Andy's mom and it had a note that said, "We couldn't resist!" I laughed out loud. When I opened it up there were two tops for me and these little tiny outfits! They are so cute !! Now I can imagine possibly how tiny the baby may be. It feels more and more real now. 

Andy said , why all the girl stuff? I said it could be either! He really wants a boy but I think either one will be fine. He even said twins would be fun!

A nurse called me today so it is more official!! It's Positive!!  Yay! 

News Update!!

We're Pregnant!!! 

I wasn't feeling well last Wednesday night so I got up and took the test. I went back to bed and checked it in the morning before Andy went to work. We were both surprised!!

I'm probably about 5 weeks. I went in for my blood test today and will find out those results in two days, then I have my first OB appointment Sept 9th.
