Nursery progress so far.......

I decided to be productive with the help of my good friend Melissa. We went through all kinds of bags and boxes of baby clothes and goodies for Abishai. It was really neat and very tiring.

This is the clothes and shoes etc. seperated by sizes so far. I can't believe how much we have already, it really is a blessing to have so many family and friends !!!

The crib again. I finalized all the little frays and things on the bumper and added the little stuffed animals from my mom.

The crafty side...

I decided that since I don't like any of the baby bedding in stores and anywhere on the wonderful world wide web, I am going to make my own.  Here is what I have so far. I did the bumper today. Later on with the extra material I may make a blanket or a few little pillows.

Last week marked 20 weeks and I am SO happy to be over the hump. We haven't been up to too much lately. We did get our Christmas tree this week and we did most of our shopping. It's getting very cold here! Hopefully it will snow!!

An Introduction to Make

Well, this is our son, Abishai Elijah!!! We got the much anticipated ultrasound done last Sunday. Now we can take the next big step and start working on the nursery. I can rest at ease for a little while knowing that I don't have to paint it pink for this one. Can you believe we can see this much!? We are just taking it all in. Ahhh, techmology... friggin amazing stuff. We can't decide who he looks like yet. Just know this: God is so awesome! Who else would come up with this. He truly is the Author and Creator of Life. I cannot begin to describe to feelings that go along with all of this. "Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgements and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to the Him that it might be paid back to him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. - Romans 11:33-36"  Yeah, that's a start.

Weekend getaway

This past weekend we rented a cabin near the Luray Canverns in Virginia. It was a beautiful place to stay and relax. Saturday we toured the caverns and did a garden maze then at night we enjoyed some fine dining at a local hotel. Sunday morning we got up and took an airplane ride above the mountains to see the view!! The trees were all different colors . They looked like a giant blanket over the ground. This really was a nice trip and I would recommend it to anyone who can go. 

Not much going on here.....

I am still home and getting a little bored. Here are a few pics from the past week or two. This is us before we went to join some friends at a local farm to do a corn maze and get a pumpkin.

My lack of Belly still. I am still preggo, however, we saw the baby last week on an ultrasound. I think I must've laughed and then it jumped up. It was the coolest thing!!
